Happy Customer
I was attracted to Springbar in 2012 when I saw a factory-tour program on television that explained how the entire tent is made in the USA. The switch to canvas was an easy one. Sure, it's heavier and it demands you store it DRY, but the benefits of a canvas Springbar far outweigh those drawbacks. I feel like the Queen of Sheba camping in my Campsite model. It looks small from the outside, but is adequately roomy for two plus gear, and you can easily stand up in it. The zippers are heavy and function well. The floor is strong. The walls are strong. The poles are strong. The stakes are strong. You can cool the entire tent with the large windows or you can button it up tight.

I had an issue with one of the telescoping poles, and upon calling customer service, the representative knew exactly what questions to ask, apologized for the problem, and sent a new-and-improved set out immediately.

I'm glad I bought the tarp as it is the exact size of the tent and makes layout and setup a breeze.

The detachable awning is nice for shade, but the design collects water in heavy rain.

If you're one who finds yourself saying, "they don't make 'em like they used to," consider a Springbar. It'll renew your faith in quality American manufacturing.

Great tent
Being an Eagle Scout it is no surprise that I love to camp. When it was time to purchase a serious tent I wanted a tent that could stand up the test of time and anything else Mother Nature can throw at it. After spending many months researching a variety of tents I came across both the Springbar and Kodiak Canvas (Chinese made copy of a Springbar) tents. After doing some more research into the matter I decided to contact the Springbar staff and ask some questions about the tent. The Springbar staff was very nice and did a great job answering my questions. I believe that Springbar does make the best tents in America and this is not only because of their material and workmanship, but also because of the quality of service they are able to provide to their customers. I have had my Springbar tent for just over a year now and I am now even more convinced that I made a great choice. The tent looks as great as it performs. Throughout the past year my Springbar Campsite 3 has been put to the test in the heat, the cold, in thunderstorms, and in high winds and it did so without breaking a sweat. Even though the initial cost of owning a Springbar tent may seem high that cost gets lower and lower every year you use your Springbar. I would like to thank the people at Springbar for making a great tent and providing great customer service and especially for doing all of this here at home in the USA.
