love this tent
I bought this tent a few years ago to take on archaeology digs. I thought that since I spend most of my summer living in a tent, I should be comfortable and not worry about wind. When I used the tent the first time, there was a problem with the floor (weird), but they fixed it quick enough for my next dig and sent me on my way with everything I needed to do a repair if anything happened again. Not a problem since. When everyone else wakes up grumpy because of the wind, I am clueless because I slept great. My kids even love this tent so much that we now take it car camping and I wish I had a larger tent because now my husband has to sleep in the old tent alone!

Great Tent!
Had my Outfitter 3 a couple of years now and have used it quite a bit. Excellent tent! Advertised weight is right on the money - stakes and everything - which is light for a tent of this caliber. I can recommend this tent without reservation. The only improvement I would like to see is an awning/canopy over the door.

Hard working tent for all seasons
I purchased this tent at the store in the early 1990s while working as a field archaeologist and still use it. I lived out of it several years in a row, mostly in Wyoming, with temperatures from the minuses to over a hundred degrees with hail, torrential rains, sandstorms, high winds...you name it. Being able to stand up in it was what originally sold me on it, but it has exceeded all my expectations. It was frequently the only tent left standing after storms, and in an emergency has housed six people. I brought it back to the store a few years ago and had the floor seam re-sewn but even after all that daily use year after year the window and door screens and the zippers are still like new and it has always been totally waterproof. A very hardworking, well designed and reliable tent.
