Garmont Radium – Alpine Touring Boot

There is not a ski mountaineering boot on the market that skis as well as the Radium. It is the best choice for skiers who combine extended tours and demanding downhill skiing. It is truly the best of both worlds—touring and skiing. It is light and very easywalking, yet as stiff and responsive as an alpine boot. The Radium’s unique overlap design allows the cuff and lower shell to function very independently when hiking, yet it buckles down securely to descend like the best alpine boots. Its responsive multi-injected lower shell and cuff are built from Pebax® for the lightest weight and least temperature sensitivity. The Radium is available with the G-fit Rapid or Pad-Lock Rapid Liner. The Pad-Lock Liner has a new Cordura® outer skin for maximum abrasion resistance, and a cropped pile lining that has a softer, warmer feel. The Radium’s fit has been significantly improved with a roomier toe, wider forefoot, and narrower heel. We also added a rubber dam under the overlap for a better seal against snow entry.
